Distributer, producer, and designer of physical and inspection instruments for coatings, paints, and relative industries Paul N. Gardner now offers the byko-visc RT Rotational Viscometer. According to the company, the byko-visc RT is an instrument designed to test the viscosity of pastes and liquids in compliance with ASTM D2196, ISO 2555 and ISO 1652 standards. This device will join the GARDCO offerings for customers’ QC needs. This product comes in two models, byko-visc RT and byko-visc RT Lite, according to the company each model is versatile and compact and includes three different sensitives and optional accessories. Measuring the viscosity of lacquers, resins, primers, paints, lubricants and more, the byko-visc RT reportedly can measure a near water-like viscosity to the most viscus epoxies, pastes, and sealants. The byko-visc RT features a snap-on spindle attachment and an adjustable stand to raise and lower the viscometer head designed to save time while protecting the instrument. According to the company, no assembly is required, and it is operational right out of the box. Operator time could be reduced through the device’s navigation, various control options, and large capacity color touch screen display, which includes preset buttons for quick recall to measure parameters. Reportedly, the byko-visc RT is compatible with other rotational viscometer models in terms of measurement parameters, results, and accessories.
